Hawkwood 8th of May 2010

Make and play your own Didgeridoo

Welcome to the sound of Mother Earth!

Over this weekend you will be able to make your own bamboo didgeridoo, decorate it and learn how to play.

There’s nothing like making your own instrument, and then letting your imagination go to work to make it beautiful. Just as it is also so special to play the one you’ve made. You can chose from using acrylic paint to pyrography to decorate your didg.

On the Saturday night Sam and Tabla Tom will give a tabla/didgeridoo concert from 8pm, where the haunting and rhythmical sounds will come alive to inspire you.

‘The didg concert was simply wonderful, Sam. I shall never forget how you became one with the instrument and "spoke" to us all. It was magical and I hope to share many more such occasions.’ 08

Sam makes, plays and teaches didgeridoo, he will enable you to start playing and singing down the didgeridoo, perhaps you will even get the art of circular breathing! For info on Sam go to www.sambloomfield.org.uk

This workshop is suitable for all adults and children from 12yrs. Numbers limited, book today!
